I first saw the Eaglehawk Community Health Centre on LinkedIn, it was a ‘nearing completion’ progress shot, I liked what I saw and was enormously pleased to be able to shoot and deliver the finished images. The weather gods were kind for most of the day despite a lacklustre forecast, and following a short dusk the building really sang at night. I’ve said it a number of times now, it reminds me a of a teamLab installation! A long and lovely day with Darragh and co at EBD Architects, assisted by the ever capable and helpful Kate McGovern.

Braemar College Steam Building by Hayball and Bowden
Left Melbourne on a sunny autumn day bound for Woodend a couple of months ago and spent the day at the base of Mount Macedon shooting a new STEAM building at Braemar College’s middle school campus. Designed by Hayball and built by Bowden Corporation it’s a lovely little building that will no doubt be enjoyed by students and teachers alike.
St Kilda Road Office by Amicus
Another great little office by Amicus, this one for cosmetics company Devcos. Warm lights and fluted glass for a glam touch.
From the 'New York' end of Flinders Lane...
My friends at Amicus have renovated their own home, and here it is. Tucked away at the New York (I think that’s what they call it these days) end of Flinders Lane, it’s a cosy space that packs a punch in red and blue (my longtime favs).
House for performing artists
This was a fun little shoot. I said performing artist, think clowns. House for clowns in classic Meredith Lee ID colours. My ten year old self is desperate to take those roller skates for a turn!
Botanicca Spec Suite
Here’s something else from late last year - a calming, neutral spec suite by Amicus. Gentle curves and a soft palette, mirroring the nearby Yarra River and bushland, made this space a pleasure to move around.
Six Degrees
Shot late last year for Amicus, the offices of Six Degrees, a Melbourne recruitment group. A calming and sophisticated workplace set amongst the South Yarra sky scrapers in Goldfields House.
Endeavour Group
From the moment I arrived at Endeavour Group last year, it felt different to most of the corporate interiors I’ve photographed in the past. What did it feel like? Part hotel, part airport/airline lounge mixed with retail and hospitality spaces.
Designed by Sydney advertising agency The General Store in collaboration with State of Work, and built by Amicus, the office offers Endeavour staff countless options for private and collaborative working, all the tech for remote employees, and fun and comfortable breakout options - a home away from home, if you like.
I was especially impressed by the tasting room, which felt like an upmarket dining space or wine bar, intended for entertaining. All in all a great space to work, a sentiment echoed time and time again by the staff I met over this fun two day shoot.
